This November 1, 2017, 4-H Canada is calling on all 4-H supporters to celebrate the 4-H movement of responsible, confident and caring Canadian youth interested in making a positive impact in communities across Canada by wearing green and participating in Show Your 4-H Colours Day.
Dig into your closets this November 1, 2017 and for the entire month, pull out your favourite green clothing and join over 32,000 4-H youth members, volunteer leaders, alumni, government leaders and partners as we celebrate one of Canada’s leading positive youth development organizations.
Canadians aren’t the only ones getting green throughout November – landmarks across Canada including the Canada Place Sails of Light in Vancouver and the Charlottetown City Hall in Prince Edward Island will be lighting up green in support of 4-H.
“There are many ways for 4-H’ers to show their 4-H pride on November 1, 2017 – but the best way is to share the impact 4-H has had on your life. Get out into your communities, use the #ShowYour4HColours hashtag and tell your story so that others can learn about our positive youth development movement and experience the positive effects of 4-H,” said 4-H Canada CEO, Shannon Benner.
